Immigration lawyers in Marbella.

Visas, residency and Spanish citizenship for people moving to Marbella or already living here, in English from the first call.

Most people who ask us about moving to Marbella fall into three groups: retirees living on a pension, remote workers keeping their job abroad, and British residents who were here before Brexit and need to protect that status. Each needs a different permit, and choosing the wrong one costs months.

Immigration lawyers in Marbella

We prepare and file visa and residency applications, renewals, family reunification and citizenship, and appeal refusals. Applications for the province are decided in Málaga.

Retiring to Marbella

The non-lucrative visa is for living in Spain without working here, on a pension or savings. You apply at the Spanish consulate for your place of residence before you move, with proof of income and private health insurance.

Working remotely from Marbella

The digital nomad visa lets you keep working for employers or clients outside Spain. If you are already in Spain legally, you can apply without leaving the country.

British residents after Brexit

If you lived in Spain before 2021, your Withdrawal Agreement TIE is what proves your rights: renew it on time and keep proof of your residence. If you moved later, you are treated like any other non-EU national.

What people ask us about moving to Marbella.

Can I work on a non-lucrative visa?

No, not in Spain or remotely. If you want to keep working, look at the digital nomad visa instead.

I moved to Marbella after Brexit. Can I stay more than 90 days?

Only with a visa or residence permit. Without one, UK citizens are limited to 90 days in any 180-day period.

Does time on a digital nomad visa count towards citizenship?

Yes. It is legal residence, and it counts towards long-term residence and Spanish nationality.

How much does an immigration lawyer in Marbella cost?

We send you a written quote for each application before we file anything.
